Flash Forward 2006: Mashups for Cancer

Today I am attending a great presentation from Mario Klingemann. It’s about using API Keys and Creativity to create Mash-ups. Basically mash-ups are taking two pieces of technology and making something new out of it. My favorite mash-up that he showed me was Tagnautica. A mash-up for exploring Flickr. As you may know from one of my previous Podcasts, Flickr is the number one photo sharing site on the Web. And in fact has a ton of great Society volunteers posting photos of our events. What Tagnautica does is help you explore those photos using tags. Check it out here. Simply click enter and then type in Cancer or American Cancer Soicety or even Relay For Life. Cool huh? If only we could explore our own content (psa videos, documents, pages on cancer.org, images on BrandWizard) this way….
