A British company, ip.access, has announced a new consumer device that provides mobile phone voice and data coverage in your home. What this means (to me) is that by allowing your cell phone to access your own internet broadband connection when you are in your home, traditional land line phones have received another nail in the coffin. Of course, I do feel we are a ways away from wireless and IP telephony matching the reliability of a good old land line.
